Day 18 April 4th

Brief update:

The U.S. Embassy in Malawi will not schedule Crystal's visa appointment until they receive the "hard copy" approved immigration forms from the National Visa Center. They forms have been sent DHL and we are hoping it will take 3 to 5 business days to get there. Hoping now for a visa appointment on April 10th and a return home between the 17th and 20th. Please keep praying for things to move smoothly and quickly.

TWINS:

I have had many inquiries about Savannah-Hope's three year old twin sisters. At this point they are not available for adoption, but they are in need of medical, hygiene and basic household supplies. I am thinking if we could come up with $200 we could purchase a bicycle for the father, household items and the medicine. So basically if 20 people would give $10 we should have enough. I should be able to cover the transport costs for Crystal or a Good Samaritan staff member to travel back to the village. Gas is $8 a gallon. Please comment below if you are interested in contributing. If I get enough of an interest I will post with more details about how to send the money, etc.

P.S. the worm medication is $1 for each child.

Count me in as well. All of us that go to FBC should ask our SS class or small group to help. I am sure anything above the 200 would be used. Just an idea. Let me know where to send the money.
