Calling all Prayer Warriors

PICTURES ADDED AT BOTTOM OF POST ( 12:30 pm Central Time)

**Urgent Prayer Needed** The approved immigration paperwork has been delivered to the US Embassy in Malawi and has been received by the Visa Processor. Praise the Lord that it got there! Crystal and I have both spoken with the Embassy today and they are refusing to set Crystal an Embassy appointment until he has time to review the documents (1 piece of paper). He will not give an estimated time frame for this process. He will not expedite the review process. We have told him every sob story we can think of. Its time now to put it back in God's hands and let him do the work. That is where you all come in. Please spend some extra time today in prayer for this visa process. Please pray that the Lord will soften the heart of the embassy staff. There are so many things going on behind the scenes that are affected by the timing of this process (Crystal's job, Shane's job, homeschooling, high-season plane tickets, finances for extended stay in Malawi, 4 little children in TN missing their Mama, etc.). We have also gotten word that a big event is coming to Malawi on April 22nd that will surely slow everything down. So please also pray that Crystal will be out of the country before the 22nd.

Pictures from Second Trip to Savannah-Hope's Village

Savannah-Hope's Paternal Grandmother receiving supplies.

The Pastor's wife from Savannah-Hope's village was so happy to receive the box of bibles in their native language.

Here is Crystal holding Tamadani. If you look close you might be able to tell that this was the dress that Crystal gave to Tamandani during the first trip. It doesn't look like she has taken it off. It is filthy dirty.

Here is Crystal fighting back the tears having to leave Sidala again.

I am asking you to please be lifted up in the arms of angels during this time. Please remember who is in charge of you and Savannah -Hope it is our Lord and Savior Jesus. Remember he will not forget you. God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. Hebrews 6:10. You are his child for the LORD your God is a merciful God, He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them. Deuteronomy 4:30-32.

I am so PROUD of you. I know I can’t even begin to know how proud of you that God is. You are doing his work in so many ways. Loving his people of Africa that are in such a poor and under educated country. Taking in one of his orphans and loving her like your own. You are truly living out God’s word. Your truly one of his servants. I wish I had done the Lord’s work at a much younger age. I know I have miss so many BLESSINGS by not getting on the Lord’s bus sooner.

I am praying you have peace like nothing you have ever had before. I am praying speed in the visa process like has never been done before. I am praying safety like nobody can provide but Jesus. I am praying health for you all that only God can provide. I am praying that you can step aside and let Jesus be in control of this whole process that you can have a calmness that you don’t even feel the need to call again that you don’t even thing about using the phone. Keep your eyes on Jesus and the BIG PICTURE ahead which is the rest of your life. In Jesus Name I pray Amen.

Crystal,
As I was praying today and in my quite time with God I just feel like we should stop and give God all the Glory for this trip to get Savannah-Hope. He has been so good to keep her safe and healthy until you could get there. We need to stop worrying about what we can't control and Praise Him for what he has already done. I am going to try an remember how we didn’t even know if we would ever get her and now it is just a small step until she is home with you and all of the family.

Remember rest in God; soak up all of Malawi because your eyes will have to be Savannah-Hope look into her home land someday. God has you there for a reason and we may never fully know why. But while you are there no matter what the time I am going to give God the GLORY for the trip and all the opportunities you have had.

Stay upbeat; we are all fine here while we miss you terribly we are all fine and we will be at the airport with bells on.

Good night I got to get the z boys to bed. They have been so good and are listening so goo this week. The kids have really been a joy thru out this whole adventure.I thank God for this time with Shane and the kids.

Love Mom

Sweet Jesus I come to you with thanksgiving and praise for all you have done in my life and my families. I want to give you the Glory for that has happened in my life. Thanks for keeping Crystal, Savannah-Hope and Sheila safe and healthy on this wonderful journey to bring home the most wonderful gift you can give a family. Father I ask for speed in processing the visa papers. I ask that the American Embassy people will find an appointment for tomorrow. I want to thank you now for what you have planned for the rest of this week. Thanks you Father for loving us and allowing us to have the peace of knowing that. I ask for and Praise you. In the sweet name of Jesus. Amen.

I will pray. I just have this feeling that there is a reason behind all of this, that God is doing something.

Hey Crystal,
I just wanted to pop in to say that I'm thinking of you often and praying even more. God is being glorified through all that you are enduring. Hold on to that thought! I'm giving Him praise and thanksgiving for all He is allowing you to experience. What memories you will have forever of this sweet time....even if it may not feel so sweet at this moment. ;) I'm praying for a swift decision in the embassy and an even quicker flight home to your family. Shane and your children are being lifted to the Father also. May you all enjoy peace and comfort and joy today as you wait!

Crystal,
I am so praying for you and your youngest today. While others of us are worried about taxes you are worried about coming home to your loving family and friends. I can't wait to see you both. I pray he will look at it today and you will be home by the end of the week. I will keep checking to see when you are coming home. I would love to meet you at the airport.
I love you,
Andy
