Wednesday update

Well I wanted to give you guys an update on the adoption situation. Many of you know when we originally updated our home study our first choice was Tatiana, if you do not already know about her ask and I can fill you in. Well after 4 long months we found out last wednesday they placed her in a San Diego home. Also we put in our home study for another little girl Anna again if you do not know ask..today we were told they found a home for her as well. I have no doubt that God has the perfect child he handpicked for us but it really does feel like a loss with each phone call. It has been an emotional day and I have to cram for this final so just continue to pray with Shane and I over our second adoption journey as we patiently wait for the child he has picked for us. Thanks for all the prayers and concerns for Tatiana I truly hope she is in a wonderful home. love ya

Okay so I was missing some pictures and I thought I had accidentally deleted them frm the memory card. Here they are though..on the prior slide show in case you could not figure it out Amelia has fixed her own hair also, I forgot to mention Zach's tooth looks really funny because it got bumped and knocked loose hopefully it is going to fall out soon it is a baby tooth thank goodness. The great outdoors!

So the Johnson family has now officially been camping!! In case you did not know this we have never been camping this includes Shane and I as well. Well the kids have been wanting to go for a couple of years but I was not sure how safe it would be since I had never done it. God brought us some new friends last fall that we have enjoyed spending time with and they are campers!! So we went to their house which has a huge back yard and fire pit etc. and camped in tents with nature etc. and we did not cheat and go inside..we thought this would be great just to see how the kids did and Shane and I liked it without actually going to far from home. WE ALL LOVED IT AND HAD A FANTASTIC TIME!!!! We are now officially planning our next camping trip to a real state park in april. So a couple things about the trip in true Johnson fashion Izabella cut her leg on a rock in the first 10 minutes, Zander threw up because he saw someone SQUASH a bug which was gross, the kids played wonderfully and fought some, and Zach and Zander put their tent inside of ours at night not because they were scared just because they love sleeping with us!! They are pansies :) but I love em' ..all in all it was a wonderful weekend and a great spring break week.

As we all know with spring weather must come spring cleaning!! here are some pictures of my great helpers!! When their daddy gets home the house will be spotless dinner made with pudding for dessert! ( I could give June cleaver a run for her money!) along with the pictures I took I manged to get all the clothes rotated around in the closets on Monday from winter to summer....were on top of it for once around here!! now I just got to maintain the clean house and study,study study!! Discovery Center Fun!

Yesterday we went to the discovery science center this very interactive hands on children's science musuem and had a picnic lunch, spent some time with our friends! It was a beautiful day!! and we had a fantastic time!! I am not ready for spring break to be over I can not believe it is already Thursday!! We are preparing for our first camping trip tomorrow night!! I will post pictures of it over the weekend sometime!

My poor Zach

So today we swam, had a picnic, bowled,ate out and went to McDonald's. All in all a great fun day!! however there was one casualty with Zach's foot. While opening the door from the pool to the family locker room I somehow managed to catch the top of his foot..he cried it bled and I cried:( man it is bad enough when they get hurt but when you do it that's the worst! I attached some pictures of Zach's booboo and his sad face along with his brother checking out his booboo. Not to be left out I am attaching the princess picture of her hairstyle she did ALL BY HERSELF!! The littlest peanut was sleeping while we played with the camera so she is not in any of these. Hope all is well.

What a great sunday!!

Well we had a good day yesterday just spending some time together and somewhat relaxing. The kids and Shane did some puzzles and played on the trampoline, as well as played toon town some computer game they all just love!! Izabella and I took a trip to the hospital to see my father Darrell his mom is on life support and not doing to well:( anyway the hospital staff just thought she was so cute and kept giving her coke and oatmeal creme pies. I am attaching some pictures of her at the hospital and Shane with the kids. School is insane for me this week I have less than 2 weeks to learn the digestive and urinary system so I can not promise many new pics this week, but I will try. The kids are on spring break so we are busy doing fun things each day!!

America's next top model..

well here she is Miss America aka Bella. For at least two weeks everyday she is some type of princess and/or ballerina. YES!! she wears this to school, grocery store,YMCA and any where else we might venture in our day! In the first picture she is practicing for a back up career as a magician's assistant! This is our TV stand which we used as a table when some friends were over the other day..she got inside of it which cracked us up then I spun the cart and since she could not see them until I spun her back around she really thought she was invisible!! she wants to do that trick again..LOL!!I am sorry for not adding any new posts lately but school is keeping me VERY BUSY! I have two tests on friday so feel free to pray:) Everyone is good..I do have some recent pictures to post I will try to add them soon, hope all of is well.

Just another thursday!

Today was typical kids in school and Bella and I worked. Everyone had a good day at school we had a surprise in the mail when we got home of the pictures from Bobby's camera when he visited. Remember it was a disposable camera so some pictures are not that clear but hope you enjoy them!!

sunshine, the park, two haircuts, a study group and ICE CREAM CONES!!

Well it was a beautiful day here in TN. The day started with 3 angels in school and a princess at home with her daddy. As soon as I dropped the big kids off at school I went to my first study session of the day! I returned to meet Shane and Izabella for a workout at the YMCA which was followed by lunch. Then the princess and I returned to pick up the twins from school (Amy had tutoring), we went to the park and then to get a haircut..Back to school to get Amy then we went to the ice cream shop which is traditional with every haircut! After superman ice cream cones we returned home for some jumping on the trampoline! Then dinner,baths and off to bed! for the kids for me came the second study session of the day here at my house...with my good friends Gina,Blondy and Karleen(my anatomy and physiology girls!) there is no one I would rather study anatomy with except maybe Shane :) lol anyway that was my day..in a nutshell..I am attaching two pictures one of my cute kids and one of my crazy girls study group..I'll try to update again soon.

Just another manic monday!

Well we had a wonderful weekend, by Sunday I was feeling so much better!! Today it is back to the real world! 3 angels at school,and one princess with me! She is eating breakfast while I get my school stuff together we are off to the lab! I have to learn the heart for my next test, and I am behind due to my illness last week. She is such a good study partner :) thanks so much for all the input on the blog and pictures it has been a fun way to share with all my out of town friends and family! I will try to update again soon!

Basketball Boys

Saturday night!

Man I am feeling so much better after all those fluids and on my way to recovery. I added a movie of the twins basketball which is blurry ..sorry I am learning:) They really enjoyed basketball..Zander was the official "throw-in guy" and Zach was the official "guarder"!! now we just need to work on shooting and were ready for the NBA!! I also added a slide show from a couple of weekends ago when we got some snow it was a great treat having Amy's biological brother Bobby here visiting from california..he had a blast that is him in the pictures with the kids outside by the car. We had a wonderful time seeing him ..what a wonderful thing it is for Amy to be able to combine all her brothers!! she felt very special with him here..he will be coming again! Hope everyone is having a great weekend..

Shh..don't tell anyone I am not a perfect mom!LOL They had already eaten and spilled a drink,but hey all were happy and memories were made! I love these dirty kids!!!

Friday Hello

Okay so I am trying to keep up with this crazy blog. I am going to try and add some more pictures tomorrow! I have had a terrible virus this week and it really kicked my booty..today I spent 5 hours at the doctor getting IV fluids ...yuck!! They had to stick me 4 times because I was so dehydrated, twice it went in and got all taped then the vein collapsed ugh:( it was almost worth it for all the sympathy love I got from my angels when they got home:) I got at least one kiss for every band-aid! They are getting so big because I have been so sick this week the big kids have been "taking care of me", and have done a wonderful job. The twins made dinner two nights(pb&j,chips and juice boxes) and the girls set and cleared the table!! Izabella also took care of me by checking my "fever" she loves to be in charge of listening for the beep. Everyone else is well and I am praying no one else in my family gets this..Shane as always is a wonderful caregiver and fabulous husband! Nana is still doing well and is out of the hospital! Getting used to this! and update on Nana

Okay so I am going to try and update this often and add all new pictures on here because it saves space on mine and your e-mail accounts. So Nana's aretireogram went well they found a 40% blockage in one valve of her heart, and her heart is beating to fast. He feels that both of these can be treated with medication and does not think that surgery is necessary at this point!! Big Praise!! She is still at stone crest they kept her overnight for observation. She should get to go home today and he will follow up with her on tuesday to see how she is responding to medication. Thank you all so much for the prayers,phone calls, emails and text messages. I will update more on what is going on with the Johnson's a different day..
