Nice Suprise

Tonight was our small group meeting. We are doing a study on John 3:16. Our small group buddies surprised us with gift cards for Shane and the kids to go to dinner while I am in Malawi. It was such a great surprise and tremendous blessing. The kids are so excited to go on dates with daddy.

Things are coming together. Everything that needs to go in my suitcase is in my house but a few things still need to be rearranged. But nothing else needs to be purchased or gathered, so that is a huge blessing. One child or another in our family has had a respiratory infection, croup, vomiting and ear infections this week. They all seem to be on the mend, praise the Lord. Tonight we installed a Skype camera on our home computer and hope to use it in Malawi so Savannah-Hope and I can communicate with Shane and the kids. We still have a few technical glitches to work out, but we are hopeful that it will work. I am heading off to get some sleep. Only two more sleeps until I head to Malawi. Thank you for your prayers!

Your small group sounds amazing. What a great idea to have date nights with Daddy while you are gone. Praying for a safe trip and that the kids are healthy before you leave. Cant wait to see photos of you and Savannah.
