I am sitting on the top of the world!!! Our approval from immigration arrived tonight. We have been waiting to bring Savannah-Hope home for 6 months and three days. Everyday I have gone to the mailbox to see if the paper has arrived and everyday its not there. We have prayed, fasted, cried, begged, waited and now its here and I can hardly catch my breath!! We had such a busy day today with Izabella's preschool, Zach and Zander's speech, a family date at the movies, Amy's dance class, Zach and Zander's Karate. We got home at 8:30pm and I quickly sifted through the mail as I was giving the typical bedtime routine instructions.....and there it was. I opened the envelope with shaking hands hoping it wasn't another request for additional information or even worse a denial. Then I saw the words "Approved". Then started the screaming, the jumping, the crying and the phone calls. Thank you Lord!!
Today's date is so special to us and an answer to prayer. It is exactly 6 months to the day that Savannah-Hope left her village (Sept 4th) to begin her journey home. Malawi doesn't have an open or stable adoption program. Since 2001 there have been only 7 U.S. adoption visas issued from Malawi. This adoption has been a leap of faith every step of the way. I have been asking God to guide us and lead us throughout this process. To reconfirm for us that we were following His plan and waiting on His timing. Today's date is "March 4th" or as we see it "march forth". So here we go...we are marching forth to Malawi. Stay tuned for travel dates....

I received a text from Gwen tonight during a class I was taking, I shouted WOO HOO, outloud, during class, right in front of everyone! Some things just call for a WOO HOO no matter where you are! So happy for you and we are anxiously awaiting travel details. Congratulations.
