Urgent Prayer Request

This is guest blogger.....Aunt Chrissie. I am posting an urgent prayer request on behalf of Crystal. She was diagnosed this afternoon with Appendicitis. She is currently in surgery. The surgery began at approximately 6:15pm TN time. The surgeon is going to attempt and endoscopic procedure that will reduce the scare tissue and recovery time. Please pray this procedure goes well. As most of you know Crystal has endured severe scar tissue due to having a twin pregnancy and two c-sections. If they are not able to successfully do the procedure, she will have to undergo a more evasive operation. Please pray that the appendix does not rupture during the procedure. Please pray for a quick recovery. Crystal needs to get back on her feet quick so she will be ready to travel to pick up sweet Savannah-Hope.

UPDATE #1
The surgery was successful! Praise the Lord! Crystal will be moved to recovery at 7:30pm (TN time). It hasn't yet been determined if Crystal will stay the night in the hospital or be released late tonight. I will try to keep you posted.....Aunt Chrissie.

UPDATE #2
Crystal is spending the night in the hospital. Shane will be staying the night with her and the children are at Mimi and Poppy's. Crystal should be released on Monday. Please pray for a speedy recovery........ Aunt Chrissie

UPDATE #3
Crystal was released from the hospital this morning and is doing well.

I am praising God that this happened now and not in Malawi. You will be back on your feet in no time. Glad things went well and we'll be praying for a speedy recovery!

Just read Chrissie's blog; that would be awesome if you can "foster" savannah here in the states. I'm praying that it becomes true. That would relieve some stress.

Please rest and take it easy so when you are able to, you can go pick up your baby girl.
