Savannah-Hope with Peace
While Savannah-Hope is waiting for us in Malawi, she is residing at the Good Samaritan Children's Home. Because the children's home is not set up for infants, she is staying in the staff quarters. Savannah-Hope shares a room with her nanny Violet. They live next door to the orphanage director Thandie. Thandie has a 7 year old daughter named Peace. She also has two other girls who live with her, Margret 14 and Eda 16. The three girls love Savannah-Hope and have enjoyed watching her grow and blossom.

We are so blessed that Savannah-Hope is receiving such loving care while she awaits her journey home. She is the only infant and really is treated like the little princess she is.
Savannah-Hope had an appointment this morning (11/27) at the under 5 clinic. She received two shots. Thandie said that she was so brave and didn't even cry for the first shot. The nurse commented on what a good baby she was. And then....the second shot. Well lets just say she made up for it with second shot and screamed at the top of her lungs. Then they weighed her and yet again I guessed her weight exactly. She weighs 13 lbs 0 oz. She gained 2 pounds since her last appointment which was on Oct 30th.
Please continue to pray for our adoption journey. Specific prayer requests include:
- Savannah-Hope's health and safety
- Immigration paperwork (I-171H)
- Malawi Social Welfare Approval
- Malawi High Court Approval
- Adoption Fees
