We have a family tradition of cutting down a live Christmas tree the weekend after Thanksgiving. Last year we thought Savannah-Hope would be home in time to go with us, and were saddened to go without her. This year we were thrilled to have us all together.
The kids always carry the measuring pole out to where the trees are.
