So yesterday on a day of many errands I had to pick up a copy of my high school transcript for nursing school and we ended up passing the cemetery where Papa is buried. So I asked the kids if they remembered going to there to put flowers and they all said no, but they wanted to go so we did. Well first of all they were very upset because his flowers were gone I guess they either blew off or were moved who knows?? so we will be going back to take flowers soon.They can now read and found it very disturbing that beside papa's grave the heading says Evelyn(which is Nana!) Zander very distressed says "when did Nana die?? "So I explained that they had a connecting headstone and Nana is fine but when she does die she will be beside papa. Which leads to 1000 questions about dying and how you are buried and how you get to heaven and what it looks like and if we know each other etc etc et.!!!!! So after answering many questions Zach says "well is this right you get one of these name things before you actually die?) so I said yes to which he responds "cool, lets go see Mimi's"!! anyway the moral of the story is to either stop and smell the flowers or do not take kids to a cemetery unless you have 10 hours to answer questions!!

you poor thing...i guess it is a good lesson on/in life though. never knew what your grandfather looked like; the boys kind of look like him;
A new post from the Johnsons, do dah, do dah! Thanks for updating the blog....oh how I love to see updates of you kiddos. The things they say are so funny! Can Izabella look anymore like Lauren Ashlie?....wow! Does LA know that someone is running around with her face? I am glad that the children were born into a family that can teach then the only way to heaven. Jesus!
Yes I can relate to that. When Tom's grandma died Aiden was asking a ton of questions. He told me that he likes it here on Earth and is not ready to go to heaven. It's the unknown part that makes him nervous even though we try to explain that it's a much better place.
