Amy's 4 year Gotcha Anniversary

Four years ago today, Amelia Elizabeth Johnson was placed in our arms forever!

Here is Amy saying good-bye to her bed at the orphanage.

Leaving the orphanage that was her home for way to long!

Getting ready for her first airplane ride. Amy was transported to Tennessee by her social worker/"Aunt" Chrissie.

Amy was excited to go to Tennessee and meet her forever family.

Here is Amy going over the pictures in her family book. "This is my new mommy, and here is my daddy, these are my brothers, this is my baby Bella...."

Amy spots her new brothers for the first time.

Amy and her mommy

Amy got out her family book and compared the photos. Yep! these are the same people from my book, they must be my forever family. Zach and Zander are checking her out, they loved her from the start.
Amy holding her baby sister Izabella for the first time. Amy lit up like a Christmas tree when she met Izabella.

First picture of the "Four Johnson Angels".
Amelia,
Sometimes it seems like these four years have flown by, you have grown into such a beautiful young lady. Other times I forget we have not always had you !! You are such a part of me I can't remember you not always being here. This is always been your special day and we love celebrating it with you each year you get a flower for each year and this year marks your fourth year!! wow!! You have brought us so much joy and we love you so much my adopted angel! I pray God will continue to bless our lives by you being our daughter and I pray he continues working in your heart each and everyday of your life. I love hearing you play with your brothers and sister, and know you will be an amazing big sister again when our newest adopted angel gets here soon!! I love you ,
Mama
God thank you for trusting us to parent this beautiful little angel she was so broken four years ago and it is so hard to believe now because she is such an amazing child. Thank you for giving us the knowledge and discernment to parent her and I pray you will continue to give us that for all of our children.
*** Amy says lots of funny things but here is one of her most recent. She has her first crush on Zac Efron (troy from High School musical) so she says I gotta have this shirt with Troy on it at the store because I love him and HE is MY biggest fan!!!! lol:)
She is a hoot!!!!!

Happy Gotcha Day Amy! You are such a sweet and amazing addition to your family. I look back at those pictures and you look so small. You have grown so much and in so many ways. I can't imagine your family with out you in it.

Now that your family is on the journey to bring your sister home, it has reminded me of how your parents fought and prayed and endured a long hard wait to bring you home. You were so desprately wanted from the moment your parents heard about you. You are so loved and treasured by your family and everyone who has had the honor to meet you. Happy Gotcha Day Sweet Girl!
