A year ago today

On September 4, 2007 Savannah-Hope left her home village and began her journey home. We accepted her by faith, not knowing if she would even live long enough for us to get her home. We didn't know if she had any life threatening illnesses or if she would suffer any life long damage developmentally. All we knew was that she was our daughter and we would move heaven and earth to bring her home.

This was the first picture we saw of her.


She has changed our lives and blesses us more each day. I thank God daily for our miracle.

Our family friend "Aunt" Chrissie was in Malawi when Savannah-Hope was brought to the orphanage.
