Amelia has been asking to get her ears pierced for as long as I can remember. We have been waiting till she was old enough to be sure about her decision and mature enough to take proper care of them. We were in no hurry for her to grow-up. It's so hard to keep little ones little these days. When my trip got delayed, and it became clear I would miss her birthday, I began thinking about an extra special gift. Amelia joined our family as a three year old, so I missed her first three birthdays. I never thought I would miss another one. My heart was so heavy to miss her special day. I began to think about the ear piercing and how much she has matured over this past year and the timing seemed right. Her daddy agreed and on Wed April 30th the whole family went to Claire's for the big event. She looks like she is about to be tortured. I think this was when she was told it would feel like a shot. She is learning early that beauty comes with a price :)
Savannah-Hope was born in Malawi Africa on May 5th 2007. She was matched with our family on September 1, 2007 and came home on April 26th 2008.
Our Family
I am the proud wife of the most amazing husband and father. We have 5 blessings from the Lord: Our 8 year old daughter Amelia came to us through the miracle of domestic adoption. Our 8 year old twin boys, Zach and Zander are our miracle NICU graduates. Our 5 year old daughter Izabella is our miracle full-term baby, the only one of our children to come into the world weighing more than 4 pounds. Our youngest child, 1 year old Savannah-Hope joined our family on April 26, 2008 from Malawi Africa through the miracle of international adotpion. The blessings just keep on coming......please follow along on our adventure.
Daughter's of our Heart
Joy and Faith are the biological siblings of Savannah-Hope. They remain in Malawi. Please continue to pray for them and for us while we raise funds to help meet their daily needs.

What a cool gift. I just love the look on her face, she looked pretty worried about the whole thing.
